You're certainly right about the spelling! Looks like they had the drawing work done at a "best cost producer" site. A lot of Autocad work is done in India and Malaysia.

Right now, we have no plans on doing a one day event (or 2 half days) at Lime Rock. The only options we were given.

Check the Lime Rock web site:
http://www.limerock.com/content/events-club-events
You can probably run with one of the clubs that are running their token one day events. There are a number of BMW groups running events, and a zillion Porsche club days, so that would be a good place to start.

Well--I can tell you how Patroon BMWCCA will run our events.

We have to share the day with "the club". We will run rotating sessions with "The Club" --They get 20 min, Patroon gets 20 min, They get 20 min, Patroon gets 20 min etc etc.
( We have run 20 min sessions at LRP for years --but as long as the track time is equal for both groups, I was given the impression it would work)

If "the club" oils the track --they lose time. If Patroon oils the track --we lose time.

We essentailly cut our school in half --1 instructor group instead of 2, 2 student groups instead of 4 --School filled within a week. Ct Valley BMWCCA filled over a weekend.

If you want a post paving event --Oct 11th ( Sat)--Registration will open later in the year --unless you want to buy a June WGI, Aug Calabogie and Oct LRP ticket. ( Sorry Dave about the Convertibles w/o a roll cage thing)

www.patroon.motorsportreg.com

OH BTW ---some Clubs were allowed to share dates with another club to get a full day or multiple days. We will explore that next year.

Hey Mario,
Come on out With Patroon in the fall. You can meet up with a bunch of Capital District Track Addicts--besides those of us that run with COM.

Patroon is not your typical BMWCCA crew. Most of us that run the group do not drive BMW's --have a lot of Mohud SCCA members--and we welcome non BMW's to the events.

Thanks DJ, i'll take you up on that, i'm an ex-member of patroon, in fact i went on the bus ride to the NYC car show 2 or 3 years ago & it was awesome!!!
so now WG can't come soon enough for me, so i'm keeping an eye on the weather & if the snow starts to melt at a faster rate i'm planing on jumping on the first track day available
