Greetings:
Just cam back from a couple fo long trips (Austria and Hawaii). No I did NOT wear that shirt there...
Drove a ML 320 Turbo-Diesel in the autobhan and to Scott and Tom's delight a Mustang Convertible in Hawaii (I asked for a Ford Focus but got upgraded )
Wonder if anyone knows what will be the track configurations for this event (always good for instrcutors and students).
I suspect chicane/chicane but always nice to be sure.
Mahalo! (means thank you in Hawaiian ... Raj get you head out of the gutter please )

You are right Mark. Coconut Shaved Ice for you from Matsumoto's Grocery Store (gotta try it! http://www.matsumotoshaveice.com/ ) since you are not prone to a Mai-Tai.deimos wrote:3) We are running chicane-chicane track configuration.
Imagine if we were having this event in Hawaii:
ka'a = automobile (hey! sounds just like in MA: "pahk the cah" )
Re: October 20-21 NHIS #4
Actually, ka'a has two syllables.StephanAlfa wrote:deimos wrote:ka'a = automobile (hey! sounds just like in MA: "pahk the cah" )

Excuse me, but I would like to get this thread back on track .
The weather for NHIS 4:
Saturday (24 hours): Showers ending by midday. Highs in the low 70s and lows in the low 50s.
Sunday (24 hours): Times of sun and clouds. Highs in the upper 60s and lows in the low 50s.
Once again, I have arranged for dry weather for the time trials!

Come on... who's afraid of a little rain to mix things up?cuda6666 wrote:Thanks, Sam. Not much tread left on the RA1s I've been using since last year.chaos4NH wrote: Once again, I have arranged for dry weather for the time trials!
I remember I once held the track record (chicane/chicane) after the resurfaced the track and it rain very hard (was it 2001?). My times were better than others in higher class. Bruce - if I remember correctly - still got FTD even after sipinning twice
If you were driving the Alfa, I could understand that. Extreme body roll is a good thing in the wetStephanAlfa wrote:I remember I once held the track record (chicane/chicane) after the resurfaced the track and it rain very hard (was it 2001?). My times were better than others in higher class.
