I've seen others include pictures with items for sale. How is that done? You need to put the image on the web someplace yourself, then you can click the "Img" button above the message edit pane, and insert the full web address to that picture. Then it will show up in your message wherever...

2008 Rule Book

This is the 2008 Rule Book, revision -01.
If you are in possession of an -00 draft copy, please discard it.

I'll upload it to the COM site and put in the appropriate links
within the next couple of days (probably this weekend).

Wish list for next year - to switch the Mosport and 2nd NHIS date. The proximity of the two Canada dates forces me to choose between Calabogie & Mosport. I did Calabogie last year, so it'll probably be Mosport this time. We definitely heard this one. Mosport is now in September! Makes the sched...

Mosport moved from June to September

Our Mosport date is now September 8 & 9. Many thanks to Myles at Mosport for allowing us to make this change this late in the game. This makes the schedule flow a lot better, by eliminating the hole in September and giving us some breathing room earlier in the season. There is still the off chan...

Re: WebTV?

I have to admit we did not test w/ WebTV, I figured everyone would use a PC or Mac with a normal (industry-standard) browser. There used to be a WebTV emulator you could download from the WebTV site. I used it during the last site redesign to make sure things still worked. Of course, since Microslo...

Updated 2008 Schedule

Edit - December 21st. Mosport moved from June to September! The schedule is coming together, so here's what's in the books for 2008 for planning purposes. I'd say these dates are firm. April 7&8 (M-Tu) NHIS April 21&22 (M-Tu) Watkins Glen May 26&27 (M-Tu) Calabogie [Note that Monday is M...

Re: Only one new rule proposal!

In case you haven't noticed, on the COM main page is a link to submit rule changes for next year. At next month's Board meeting these proposals will be considered. At last night's Board meeting we discovered that only ONE rule change has been submitted to date. Nothing on this forum is considered. ...

As I'm sure you're aware, 5-point systems come with 3" shoulder
belts, so when calling for a 5-point system, I'm pretty sure that most
would agree that a 3" shoulder belt is an expected part of that system.
So, I'll be the party pooper and say no. :D

No the current rules do NOT allow for this kind of change and justification. My question is should the rules allow for just changes based on safety? My only beef here is that a lot of times when people say the words "changes based on safety", all I hear when it gets to my ears is "pe...

Those guys are friggen crazy! Talk about your perpetual 4-wheel drift! Yes???? Yeah, take a primitive suspension and a spec tire and hurl it around an oval at 200mph. If you watch the in-camera video of what they're doing with the steering wheel, they're basically dancing on a film of molte...

IMHO Auto-X experience does little justice on "experience" I would actually sharply disagree with this. Someone with extensive autocross experience comes to the table with an excellent understanding of their cars' dynamics at the limit, and probably a good instinct at how to recover from ...

Yes, the car model "line" in question had a no sunroof option: 92-95 DX, CX, VX models had the option, though the Si only came with a sunroof. This is exactly the point. In SS and ST, if the item in question was an option for the exact model of the car your are running, then you could do ...
