Re: engine swap question

Thank you Paul. In either scenario I'd end up in T80, but because my +25% engine is modified a little, I better get a dyno run to avoid a discussion

Thanks for the clarification

engine swap question

Hi guys, Just need some confirmation/clarification please; In case of an engine swap of say +25% increase (1.6l to 2l in my case), such a scenario no longer allows for the Displacement Calculation option? along with relevant Engine Modifications to be used?? It requires re-dynoing the car and using ...

Re: Rules for 2013

this may be premature, but I'm curious...in the past, I was in SPB. Now, I 'think" I'd end up in Super B.. So, previously, I didn't require a window net, but am I correct in my understanding that now I would require one (like Prepared classes used to?)? Makes it a bit awkward for a street car ...

Oh yeah, 87-89 Toyota MR2 N/A
115bhp
110lbs tq
2350lbs curb weight

84 - 86 were 112hp and a incrementally lighter, however minor chassis/brake improvements 87+ made the difference moot

Re: Pucker up! We're going to MOSPORT!

Tommy, No long shirts for you! Those Porsches should move over for you. Is it mandatory to have terrible lines if you drive a Porsche? And where they brake! well, as long as its 'their' lines and braking that are terrible, I guess I'm kinda ok  BTW, I just watched it again and around 6:05 can...

Re: Pucker up! We're going to MOSPORT!

Hi Stephan, They've paved over the first part only (till before the apex), eliminating the impact caused by hitting the concrete. It’s much kinder to the car. They’ve also added some small asphalt patches outside the exit kerbing at T10, as well as T1 (particularly welcome there, as the asphalt depr...

Re: Pucker up! We're going to MOSPORT!

It's more of a slight 'yump' around the 1st apex. Depends on the car, and the actual line through the turn but not that big a deal.
What 'is' nice however is how they've repaved T10. It's nice and smooth and no longer has the rough transition onto concrete
