TAG Karts - Two DR Chassis with X-30 motors
I know this is pretty far from what COM does, but I also know that COM has a huge following of motorsports related folks. Karting may not be what COM does, but boy is it fun. The COM experience will give you a leg up on starting from scratch in a kart and driving a kart will make you better at the C...

Re: Looking for seat insert info
Being the short guy on most enduro teams I've tried a couple of things. McMaster.com has 2 part foam that you can do your own insert. Spray it into a trashbag while you sit where you want to. It takes a few minutes to harden up. The trick is to stay as far away and up off the bottom as you want whil...

Not since the snow fell....
This one actually only filled up a log book this past summer. Art Pistey's old car is still racing down in the Maryland area.

Re: Miata advice wanted - bent suspension?
You can try taking out the long bolt that connects the knuckle to the lower A-arm. If it binds a lot, keep looking there. The knuckles can be bent but you would not see it. Unfortunately, most any of it could be the problem. One thing to note is that I've seen many failures of the rear hub after an ...

Re: Team CRS Miata in Car and Driver!
We've been waiting to see what they might publish on that. If memory serves, they didn't out it on its roof once, they did it twice. That car was demolished by the time they were done, I looked at it on the trailer at dawn and what wasn't dented was covered in scratches & sod. When everyone was ...

Re: Tow vehicle chat time
I've driven both manual & automatic diesels and found that the Allison automatic is quite nice. My dad & I have very similar trucks - 3/4 ton, long bed, 4x4, 4 door, diesel. His is a Dodge Cummins w/ the 6spd manual, mine the GM Duramax w/ Allison 6 speed. His truck is not hard to drive, but...
