Trailer for sale at season's end

I am 90% sure I will be trading up for an enclosed trailer at the end of the year. It's a nice wide open trailer for a sedan. Dual axles, LED lights, electric brakes. I hauled a 3300lb car with it no problem. A 1300lb empty sports racer is not the perfect match though. With some chicanery I may be a...

Re: Not a formula car, but not a sedan

Ok, if I wind up in SB, that's fine. I'll get my butt kicked, but that's fine. I think my crank torque is less than 120 ft-lbs. It's under 1.6L Power peak is at 7900. Rev limit is 8000, but a stock MR2 trans and open diff :| I will dyno it and run it, I am not planning on competing for a class troph...

Re: Brake pads for heavy turds

I don't have a lot to offer other than I run DTC-60 year round on a 3300 lb GTI. No problems on track with single piston calipers. I wasted a set of 255/35-18 PS4s in the dry once I started to push. Not brake pad related, but the turbo really liked unleaded race gas- it was quicker and intercooler h...

Re: Looking to borrow some scales?

Will you go to the dyno day? I live near there. I have a set, but I may be busy with them until mid April as I put my suspension back together.

Not a formula car, but not a sedan

I have a sports racer. Pretty much like a SCCA Spec racer Ford. Enclosed body. No roof, SCCA/IMSA legal roll hoops. I want to run it in Super C based on what I think it has for power (160 at the crank). Just want to be sure I won't get bumped to Super Unlimited with stuff like a Formula Atlantic. Th...

Re: 2022 COM Schedule

Do we have a notion of when Thompson and other events open for registration? Nice to see a SRF there, I am bringing a sports racer, too! I expect to be in Super-C

Re: 2021 classing sheet?

If I want to use a different minimum weight for my car, and I have documentation for stock curb weight, can I merely enter that in the classing sheet? Apparently there's a significant difference from 2015 to 2017 for my car, and it may also be trim level related, like the sunroof. The only weight in...

Re: NHMS May 2021

NEVERMIND- THIS WAS ANSWERED ABOVE- YES

One question- If I sign in "pit crew" (family) that plan to attend noon to end of day Saturday, can they arrive at noonish and get in? Or do they have to sign in at registration hours (7-8)?

Re: Returning to COMSCC

Also, looking for a trailer for a 70" wide car that's a bit over 12 feet long. 80" by 14' would be a great starting point.

Re: Returning to COMSCC

Well, I thought I found a good enough deal, so I took the plunge! :D Thanks for mentioning sound limits! I just ordered a stubby Supertrapp knockoff. As it turns out, it came with a few random parts from a cannibalized car. The spare roll hoop (?!?) has COMSCC tech inspection stickers. They are too ...
