I have used that harbor freight 1.5 ton, and it works fine on concrete, and maybe fine on tarmac with a lighter car. With my vette changing tires on tarmac it felt a bit unstable, so I switched to a jack with...

Re: Route to VIR

The coronavirus resources for travelers from iloveny.com was updated yesterday.
"Hotels, marinas, campgrounds, and RV parks are open statewide"

Re: Thompson July 2020
I'd like to come for Saturday only. My wife and kids will be with me as we will be on our way back from an RV trip. Steph and my kids will stay inside my RV the whole day, and are fully self contained regarding, food, water, and facilities. Is that acceptable?

Re: 2020 TT Season
Scca covid guidelines are a decent starting point: https://www.scca.com/pages/covid-19-event-guidelines Tech and drivers meetings are some tricky things to navigate. For tech, if self tech is not an option, maybe the driver would have to stay in the car with the Windows rolled up with the signed she...

Re: 2020 TT Season
Dave makes a very good point. I think we will have to evaluate where the event state (MA, NH, CT, or NY) stands as far as hospital resource demand and capacity. Looking at the current IHME covid-19 tracker / predictive model it looks like the modeled demand for hospital beds and icu beds due to covi...
