Re: Palmer hotel, where y'all stayin...

Should we bring fire wood and sleds? The 4" of snow on the ground right now is keeping from getting excited about the weekend. The magic lantern is where to go after at least a six pack of beers. Uber anyone?

I'll take a set for the Clam Shell, 239 SC. That way I don't have to be a DOOFUS anymore for using blue tape.

Vinyl numbers and classification.

I had a couple people ask me where I got the peel and stick vinyl numbers for my car at Watkins Glen. My wife makes them for me, she is willing to make some up for $20. I'll bring them with me to Palmer this weekend if anyone is interested. Obviously, send me a PM with details. I have pictures of my...

Re: Thompson 2016 videos

Thank you Dave! I make easy things difficult sometimes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3I60wcCELmo The fastest lap all day was actually my second session I did a 1.24.9. I was able to consistently go for 1.25.5 most of the time but my street tires are completely overwhelmed. Working on setting up H...

Re: Brake pads

Thank you for all the responses guys. I was definitely hoping to hear from the guys with cars that are 3200lbs or higher like the WRX's, Evo's, stock Corvettes, newer BMW's etc.. I brought this topic up in a Camaro forum and the conversation was just plain stupid. Ideally I will learn from other peo...

Brake pads

Hey everyone, I am in the process of choosing new track brake pads for my Camaro which is about 3780LBS without gas or driver and I have read up on quite a few of the different compounds and manufactures. My biggest question is, do I keep the same compound brake pad at all four corners or should I u...

I hope COM is able to schedule a Calabogie event for next year. Watching these videos is a tease, looks like a real challenge to learn the track. Looking forward to the Glen.

Re: NJMP-Lightning 2013 videos

There is 2 different methods of attacking turn 5 and they work differently for different cars. Fred's (and Dave's) line is ideal for cars that have sticky tires and don't have to brake much for turn 5. In the higher horsepower cars you are better off coming in a little straighter otherwise the car ...

Re: NJMP-Lightning 2013 videos

I only got these loaded so fast because I have not left the couch all day today. What an exhausting event! Aside from the 100 degree temps I had a fantastic time however. The heat kept me from racking up as many laps as I would have liked but I managed to avoid any significant dehydration. With a f...
