I would like to thank all the folks at COM for the wonderful event at Tremblant.
Hopefully both clubs can continue to cooperate together for future events.

I believe the return from vacation happened a week later this year. Traffic around Montreal was light last week but sort of back to normal today (heavy).

Re: (UPDATED) Road work info for those going to Tremblant...
Well, after all is said and done, there were No delays at the border according to all I spoke with. Travel through Montreal was the easiest I have seen. Yes I was checking the various government web sites during the day and I was amazed on how little traffic there was. I guess the vacationers decid...

Re: (UPDATED) Road work info for those going to Tremblant...
Thank you so much for the updates! My pleasure! I hope the traffic situation on the roads and at the border crossing is minimal for you guys coming up on Sunday. Also the province of Quebec as new photo radars up and running so beware of those. They are along the some of the highways and in particu...

(UPDATED) Road work info for those going to Tremblant...
I'm just posting this and a public service announcement for the people travelling north to Tremblant for the event next Monday and Tuesday. Please be aware that this coming weekend especially Sunday August 01, a lot of Canadians and vacationers are coming back to Canada. You should plan on delays cr...

Re: My car classification...
I'm not going to talk smack. :) Well not yet at least  the car looks great! One thing that looks like it's a bummer from what you posted is that the car is all painted but you'll need to install another seat rail set for COM. Well the car is certainly not fully ready yet but hopefully by s...

Re: My car classification...
Thank you gentlemen. I have already looked at the Hoosier and the Michelin slicks but I find them too tall +25.5" and too narrow. My car's gearing is already too tall and I want to stay with the smallest diameter tires possible. I have three sets of 17 inch wheels that I can use for either rain...

Re: My car classification...
lovely! Keep in mind that in Prepared you can use slicks-- you do not require DOT tires. Slicks will be significantly faster-- for an experienced driver. Yes I'll have to experiment with slicks at one point. I looked at Michelin slicks (I have a friend that runs Porsches in racing) but the sizing i...

Re: My car classification...
Car looks good! You are going to have to install hood pins on that CF hood to run with COM. (it's a rule) Try the arm restraints. They are cheap($30 pair) and much easier than mounting nets.(zero effort vs. lots of effort) Otherwise, yes, nets on both windows.Your harnesses will have to be up to date ...

Re: My car classification...
Going further and playing the Devil's advocate why would a window safety net be required in a conventional car and not a topless car or since a roll cage is not even required for this class how would one secure a window safety net without a roll cage? For the record, I do not have a window safety n...

Re: My car classification...
Drivers and passenger front windows must be down while on track.Permanent closed windows in these locations would not be allowed,I am pretty sure,as you could not point by, and you would be in violation of the windows down rule.Lexan replacement windows are allowed in prepared. You should post up a...

Re: My car classification...
Arm restraints can be used in place of window nets. The restraints are inexpensive and easy to get used to. Yes,cutting of the stock fenders lands you in Prepared.(B) Welcome to the group! :D Thanks for the info. I assume the sub frame mods would have also landed me in the same class? Maybe I misse...
