Hi Don. Yes, I remember saying something like that As I think I posted on the forums, the Cuda is now on the West Coast and set a muscle car record on Pike's Peak (go to Youtube and enter "Cuda Pike's Peak).

I don't think raw reaction time is that important compared to factors that determine how and when you perceive a hazard (eyesight, experience) and factors that determine what you do when you do react - factors like rapid decision making (brake, turn right, turn left), experience in similar situation...

Had that happen to the left rear on my Cuda going over the top of turn 1 at Mt Tremblant. Symptom was a sudden loss of air. I didn't figure it out until I was at the gas station trying to re-inflate the tire.

Once you go to the trouble and expense of creating a set of dedicated rain tires, you can be sure that it will never rain again when you're at the track.

To be really precise, COM started as "Corvettes of Massachusetts" , briefly changed to "Clarks of Maine" during the early '90s, but has definitely become "Club of Miatas" in its current incarnation.
