I need an aluminum race seat for passengers. Does anyone have something they are no longer using? Size not important but a little larger might be better, like 16-17".
Let me know what you have and how much you would like for it.

Re: Track seats
There is a bit more room in the NC than the earlier cars for the width of the seat. Almost any aluminum race seat should fit without issue, I have the Ultrashield Road Race seat currently. I did have a set of Corbeau fiberglass seats in my old car that fit. The trouble spot was the shoulder wings to...

I am interested for street tires. Any chance you will have them in NH this weekend?

Very happy to hear she is home, that must be huge relief. But no time for coasting, you still have some work to do. I hope to see you both on track very soon. Stay strong!

Re: shop compressor
It is approximately 60" long, tank is 20" diameter, maybe 5 feet high.
Jeff, if you plug it into two outlets you get 220v, right?

Re: shop compressor
Tank was built in 1978 according to the tag. It is in very good shape and didn't seem rusty at all. I think it was set up with an automatic drain before I got it. It has only had light use since, I don't use air tools much I guess.
The tag also says it is only 80 gal.

Re: Thinking of Tow Vehicle & Trailer
I pulled my Miata with a Tacoma and aluminum trailer for years without issue. Tow rating for a Taco is 6500 IIRC. Personally I wouldn't want to drive anything bigger than that, it is my DD and can do real "truck work". I usually get 15MPG when towing, which is pretty good, granted my Trail...

Car is still available. Almost time for the 2016 season to start. I added a lightweight hardtop this winter dropping 35 lbs. Email me if you would like to see more current pictures.

Re: Recomendations for a light Miata flywheel
I would look at the ACT Prolite flywheel. Billet CrMo machined to 9.3lbs. Being steel it is also legal for SCCA. I have used a Fidanza aluminum on a few cars and never had a big problem, similar weight and cost I think. Only issue with them is the pilot bearing bore sometimes loosens up. The Mazda M...

Re: 2006 MX-5 for sale
Well I ended the season tied on points with Will Martins for first in SC, he got the win due to tie breaker of more first place finishes. Not too shabby of a season. Car is all cleaned up for the winter and put away. Feel free to ask any questions or make an offer. If I get motivated in the next few...

Re: 2006 MX-5 for sale
SC class leading car since July! One more chance to get a ride to see what this car can do at the last event at NHMS Oct 10. Street car partial trade may be considered but unlikely, but feel free to make an offer. Had a nice easy run at Mosport, 220 miles without any problems except running out of g...
