Dear COM...is something wrong with this Miata???

Dear COM,

I think there is something going on with this thing. I hit the gas just like I do in my GTO, but the tires don't start smoking and the car doesn't go sideways.....I think something may be wrong...

Thanks for any thoughts that may help me figure out what's wrong with it...
