A little early to be talking about this event, but I found this information and figured I'd post it for the benefit of both those who drove it in the past and hated it, and those considering making the trip for the first time this year and may be hesitating based on what they may be hearing from some COM members and other sources. I think I'll pass on it this year. Mosport and Tremblant are worth the odyssey. Too many people have said otherwise about Summit Point. Now if they ran the main course, I'd go, just to check on the sapling at turn 9 that I took out two years ago.

I've been there for two DE's, one year apart and found that the track was much smoother and better setup the second time around (last May).
I really enjoy the track, and I plan to go back next season. Coming from an autocross background, it seems to me like a nice transitional course for those that are starting to drive on track, but may be intimidated (as I was) at the notion of the speeds traveled at places like Tremblant or Mosport. I think the experienced driver can challenge themselves there as well. Of course, if you can only do two or three away events a season, it makes the choice to go to Shen hard when Mosport, Tremblant or possibly the Glen are on the schedule.

I wish I could go. But have to wait till next spring to go with SVTOA. Cant get away from work right now.
I had a blast on that coarse. I think its the only place that I can get 120 topping the hill and leave the ground in a 5000 lbs truck! Cant wait till next year at Mont Tremblant. Great time there. I will have my rear rebuilt by then. No more one wheel spinning! Have fun down there wish I could go.
