Ted Drotleff in hospital

In case you have not heard, on Nov-25 our good friend and former COM member Ted is in the hospital (Mass General) with 2nd and 3rd degree burns after a fire broke into his house (garage I think).
Wife Kate and his kid are OK and the house, other than garage area, is also OK.
Kate stated in FB that he is on a long road to recovery, that he is doing well but will need surgery. He is energized by the many well wishes he is receiving.
I share this as he has so many friends in COM and many of us remember him driving his blinding fast silver STI and helping many of us get trailers fixed (he is a master at it) on the side.

Sad to hear. Ted is a great guy, he's tough as nails and I'm sure putting up a good fight. Let's hope for the best.

Update from his wife Kate:
Ted was able to get his breathing tube removed this morning and is doing well today. He was able to talk to me and joke a bit which is a good sign. He will be having surgery tomorrow to clean his wounds properly and get them ready for skin grafts. Thank you to everyone for all the love and support you are giving to us during this difficult time. We appreciate every one of you
