is that to support all the race tracks they have in MASS ?
it was like pulling teeth just to get one in the process to start building one .

If you read the article, it's for Lime Rock! I guess there are no big cities in Connecticut!

Wow. Looks kinda cool.

It brings back some memories. when I was a bit younger I drove a cab in Boston for a few years to hone my driving skills long before I joined COM. The cabs ( jalopies) I drove were not really safe although they did the inspections internally at the time. Spongy brakes, holes in the floorboards, torn seats, worn out shocks.. you get the picture. Nobody cared.. we just made money racing to pick up fares.

Maybe they will let me bring the ZO6 and join in on the parade. lol

yep they tax the hell out of us !
then you would think with all the taxes on every thing they could fix the roads . but they are also now thinking of putting tolls back in .
they have been working on the I95 /I91 junction for 10 years now and they are still only half finished .
mass did the big dig twice as fast .
and my friends wonder why i want to move down to NC .
every year my business taxes go up 4% .
on one of my cars the value of the car goes own every year but the town taxes on the car still stays the same because they keep upping the taxes .
2 weeks ago i saw on the news that CT is up in arms because they are losing businesses because they keep moving out of the state . so the gov is looking for ways to get businesses to stay and get others to move here .

this summer they ripped up the road in front of my shop and repaved it from New Have to North Haven . there was nothing wrong with the road with no pot holes and crap . and yet 2 miles down on state street the road has pot holes all over the place . but that part of the road falls under a different DOT dept . so it has not been fix as this dept has to spend the money or the state will not give them the same funding next year . so to spend the extra money they rip up a good road and put down a new one just to spend the money so they can get the same amount next year .

you can't take state street into NewHaven any more as they have been rebuilding a bridge for 3 plus years now . and it's only a two lane road over the bridge and the bridge is only 50 feet long .

CT just sucks !
