Just a reminder, inspect your tie downs and straps every time you use them!
I use two straps on the back of the car, and two "ratchet" straps on the front. The back straps have hooks on either end, and I used the adjustable "buckle and loop" on the strap to fix the length to what I needed. Some where between the Charlton rest area and home, one of the back straps broke. Looking at the remaining strap, I can see why. The metal buckle has a sharp edge, and over time the vibration cut thru the strap. I'll be coming up with a better method going forward, and double check the new straps and eliminate and sharp metal edges on the hardware.

Thanks for the information. I guess its best to put a check list together and add some other things which we all should check to eliminate serious potential problems getting to and from the track. Re: trailer tires plus spare, brakes, bearings, lights, etc.
Oh by the way was that before the fries and shake or after.
