Is this roll bar legal on my 00 Miata?

I think so, assuming the top of your helmet is 2 inches below the top of the roll bar.

As Nate said, it should pass. You may have to lower your seat or remove some padding. We've had Miatas and other cars with similar rollbars/rollhoops in the past, including a Miata that had a custom-made set of rollhoops years ago, before the Hard Dog & Boss Frog versions came out.

When you do register for an event, make note in the comments section about the rollhoops. I'll be sure to assign an instructor who will fit under the bar (which could very well be the guy who made those custom rollhoops I mentioned above).
