Very Sad news!

Post by fact5racer » Tue Feb 21, 2006 10:00 pm

I just got an email informing me of the passing of one of the best guys I have ever known and a great COM member. Lou Ulm pasted away this Sunday Morning. Rememberance services are this Thursday in York Village, in York, Maine. I have never met a nicer man in my life! Hopefully they have plenty of open track time in Heaven.

That is very sad news. Lou was one of the good guys. He had a certain honesty and sincerety about him which made for some great conversation and stories. Lou had a deep appreciation for the people in COM and the privilege of track driving. How lucky we were to have him as a member! Godspeed Lou, you are already missed.

Lou and his brother also competed for four years with the Cobra they built in Joe Traut's Northeast Replica Challenge. They were always a great asset to the group.
