Another "new" guy

Post by bigjim » Thu Jun 17, 2010 9:47 am

Good day all! I'm 51 with 3 boys, five grandkids, a beautiful wife and can't wait to get back to Mont Tremblant, I loved it during my class time with Jim Russel racing school a few years back when the Magnum was a baby.

Last time at Mont Tremblant was early 2006. I made it to NJMP Thunderbolt in the rain March 29 this year and early 2009 on Lightning.

A bit later in the day after getting my "sea legs" as it were.

Tuesday about an hour South of Mont Tremblant. A 255/45-18 KDW2 with 1000 miles... New one waiting at the shop to go on today and get some break in time before August.

Getting excited about Mont Tremblant, thought I was going to have to drop out but got things squared away.

Jim, abud, welcome!

Our trip to Tremblant is ramping up to be a great event, and I'm looking forward to seeing some old friends there, as well as welcoming some new. We also have a group of ASE members who are joining us for the first time. Should be great!

Glad things worked out for you Jim, hope you had road hazard insurance on the tires.

Cheers,

WIll

I do too many miles for road hazard ins. Magnum has 212,000, I think 8 sets of tires so far including winters. See everyone there!

She got a wash and a good wax job today, it should clean up nice next weekend after her trip to Toronto starting Sunday. A quick 1000 miles, back home to pick up my extra brake parts and clean up for Mont Tremblant, and play time!

A few more for you.

This is from NJMP in March of last year.
I had just gotten by these two. Way off in the distance is the Vette from my oops vid above. These are from before my suspension updates. She should corner ALOT flatter now.

A few friends back in 2006 in Brampton Ontario, 20 minutes West of Toronto after dinner. The nearest one is an AWD pushing 550hp.

Last one I promise...
