Cage Builder Recommendations

Post by timmmy » Tue Jan 17, 2006 11:15 pm

I think I asked this question here last year, but I cant find the old forum post. And besides its taken me a year to be ready.

I need a cage builder to bend up some tubing for me and supply a load of streight tubes. My current cage guy is letting me down.

My car is ready to go on the trailer now and head to a shop somewhere in New England. The closer to portsmouth NH the better but I dont mind draggin it to Boston or further if needs be.

I just need the main hoop and other bars with bends making per my mockup (see below)

Any recommendations and contacts would be greatly appreciated.

I second Pat Murphy as a welding artist.

As posted in another thread...

He does great work, is a racer, and knows his stuff. Impressive quality. Knows what to build and what not to build. Has done a couple cars for me and several for friends/COM guys and hundreds others. Will be doing my next one, should the need arise!

I've seen Woodles' cages as well, and they look quality too. Dave comes to a COM event or two each year. Good guy.
