Pre-Event Tech Inspection

Hi,

I'm new to COM & find no mention of a requirement (as some clubs have) for a pre-event tech inspection by a "qualified mechanic". Can I assume that COM, like SCDA, doesn't require more than the event-day trackside inspection?

Hello & welcome to the forums!

You are correct. COM does not require a pre-inspection or sign-off by certified shop. We hold our own tech inspection each morning. Tech sheets are supplied to participants when they sign-in at registration. I believe our tech sheet is scheduled to be added to our website. This will probably happen within a few weeks, but as always, I reserve the right to be wrong.
