FS: The McParlands STi

Post by eastcoastbumps » Thu Oct 16, 2008 12:55 am

SOLD

Some serious man hours and money has gone into this car. The motor, turbo, and transmission are all fresh. Less than 7 track days on the rest of the race parts - brakes, suspension, clutch, hubs etc. 31k miles on the '04 chassis, zero accidents and a clean carfax.

We've put a lot of time and money into this car and unfortunately haven't been able to get a lot of seat time out of it. The engine is very powerful (the turbo is good to 750hp), the aero provides a lot of grip (not a ricer body kit) and the brakes are fantastic. With the right driver and stickier tires it should be FTD with the closed wheel cars. I wish I had the chance to prove it.

We have a massive binder full of spec's, manuals, technical documents, and receipts. If you haven't heard of Voltex, HKS T04z, Autronic SM4 or any other parts please look them up. They are some of the highest quality components you can buy. You can contact me, Pete, or my brother Paddy (co-owner/builder/driver) with any questions. pete.mcparland@gmail.com paddy@mcparlandrealty.com

That's ridiculously cheap considering what's gone into that car. Hope you guys have a quick sale.

Thanks guys. The car did 400whp on pump gas and 460whp on Q16 race gas. That was on a Dyno Dynamics dyno, the lowest around. FWIW, a stock 300hp STi puts down 220-230whp, so double that on race gas.

Paddy and I are looking at getting separate track cars for next year. S2K's are at the top of our list, but I'm still undecided.

Dan, one S2k should cover my half of the car, so you'd still have to share it with Paddy. I'm sure he wouldn't mind. ;)
