Who do clubs that go on track use for insurance?

Post by tju-vette » Thu Sep 04, 2008 8:59 pm

I realize this may not be a great topic for an open forum so feel free to email or PM me offline if you care to share info.

I'm a member of another car club that wants to get (back) into some "Solo 1.5" events they used to do at paved oval tracks with suitable infields (think Saturday night short tracks, not like NHMS, WGI, LRP, etc). The first step is insurance. We have one quote from our current a/x insurance provider and it seems manageable but am curious who other clubs might use.

So, if you have any info on who provides insurance for a club you might be in, or are a COM member who's in the know about who we use, and are willing to share, I'm all ears.

TIA.
