Frame shop help needed

Post by dinoracer » Mon Oct 29, 2007 11:06 pm

Hi y'all

Got a chance to strip off the sheetmetal and take some measurements. The dinoracer needs a minor frame pull after my off track excursion- passenger side is 1/2" shorter than the driver side  . Anyone got a racer-friendly shop near southern NH?

Thanks Tom

There is a shop right behind Apex Automotive (Les' shop) in Marlboro, MA. I had my chassis checked there when I bought my new car last year. They have a real nice laser-alignment rig, and provided me with a printout of factory specs vs. measured specs. Very cool. Seems they do real nice work. Unfortunately, they were back logged when I needed my frame tugged a bit earlier this year. I had another shop do the frame pulling and repair. Seemed good, but something isn't quite right.

My car is back at the shop for a re-check and tentative tweak on their laser rig.

Shop is called UltraShine Collision I found them to be very professional, reasonable ($45/hr, I believe).

Tom,

Frame Shop
(978) 372-1113
340 Liberty St, Haverhill, MA

I believe this is the right contact, aka "Handle bars". He does much of the frame pulling in the area and I have been told he is quite reasonable.
