Just came back from a day at Lime Rock Park and chatted with the gal at the Driving Impressions store there. She said that there is no ownership change, but Skip Barber is pursuing the "membership club" idea as a way of raising money to re-pave the track and make other improvements for the new "members" as well as the complex in general.
According to her, nothing will be done until they have 200 "members", and it will be limited to 300 "members". Skip seems to think this will be "easy" and he's hopeful that the recruiting will be completed by next Spring. She thought the initiation is $100,000 + a small ($500) per year fee which would buy "xx" days of track time. There will still be time available for clubs but this will obviously cut into the overall time available for non-members.
While this is only heresay, it does come from someone at LRP everyday.

Not directed to you in any way shape or form it is about his pricing
So let us all get together and help Bruce find people to INVEST (not just waste $$ to line the pockets of someone else) for the new SCCA track.
