(I spelled that wrong so it could ryme) :lol:

I noticed the date in the photos ... maybe a mis-setting right? There pics are recent.

Bad news is that they took the Miata compound shady tree complex down.

I believe the pics are recent.

Bummer about loosing the trees, I didn't notice that. Now the Miata crew can't set up their huge tent in the only shady spot in the paddock. :roll: :P

I am sure the paddocks were paved to make a dust free landing place for his helicopters. Nice touch though.

Wasn't there also some small maintenance building in the middle as well? I wonder if they're going to add more amenities in the future? Nice to see the tarmac though - I had heard the town had been fighting him on making any improvements to the track - they'd rather have another golf course!! :lol:

I don't think the locals, or the clubs, had much influence. I heard that Champ Car required that paddocks be paved. $ talks

Nice new black aspalt in August. I'll bring some tin foil and have fried eggs for lunch!
