Clare booked us a place at Jocko's Beach Resort.

We stayed at the motel and it was decent. They also have cottages right on the beach, which would be a good value for parties of 4 or more.
The locals seem quite pumped about the track and what it could do for an economy where tourism seems to be mainly based on hunting and fishing.
Here's some trivia - Jocko's an old Indian (feather, not dot) dude who owned (and maybe still does) all the land 100 yrs ago.
