I had great fun chasing you down! At least until you hit the warp button on the back straight.
Actually I was in the Blue Z06 (you know FTD), my friend Jon was in the Black C4
You guys were friggin' sandbaggin! I thought I had a chance for FTD (for the first time evar!!!111!ones) based on following you in the practice sessions, but then you found another couple seconds in the TT and it was sayonara! Look forward to trying again at Lime Rock...

Well there were two things going on the first day, one I was following Jon (Black C4) to learn the line because I never had been to the track before. (he still claims he's faster than me) and I was running my old Nitto 555RII (over 2 years old & tons of track time)
For the second day I ran my Nitto NT-01s 315/18 in rear vs 275/17 at least 2 seconds faster.

...and a 1:01.6 at LRP last year in 40 degree weather. Glad to see someone actually driving the mid life crisis car like like it was meant to be driven.
But! (_|_) To put things in perspective, two E30 M3's ran 1:01.7 and 1:02.2. Holy hell!

Is he cute and available?
Wow!
Srsly, I've never run LRP in anything other than November. Any idea how much quicker the track is when it's not frozen?

He did that lap a few weeks ago, during a race at the NARRC runnoffs.

By the way, I didn't mean to take anything away from him. 1:01.4 in an ITA Miata is amazingly quick and ballsy.

Captin, I can't change the laws of physics.
A 2400# car is gonna corner harder than a 3200# car.
All the difference is being made up on the straights. I can really see it. I lose much more ground to HP cars on the straight than in corners.
The stangs and new vettes walk me on Mario straight like i'm standing still with foot putting 200# pressure on go pedal.
Lets settle the argument and put a g meter in a Z-06 and same meter in a Miata.
Nate gave me a ride in his Miata a few years ago. I was begging him to let me out after 1 lap. He didn't want puke all over his dash.

1:01.4 is smoking fast I looked at the SCCA National race in june and the T1 times were right around the 1:00 mark
