Chris,

Out of curiosity what do you hope to run at NHMS Chicane/chicane now with this setup? I know it is hard to say because the mod changes and whatnot but realistically what are you hoping for? I was hoping for low 18's on my streets.

I've never run tires so "small" before so it will be interesting. Tire temps will certainly come up faster which will be beneficial for the cooler events but what the overall level of grip will be remains to be seen. There will also be a little bit of chassis and suspension tuning required since I'm going from a staggered setup to a square setup.

You took motor mods off which will hurt power but your rotating mass will be less and I assume smaller so you should have quicker acceleration. I think overall you will be fast. 275's are more than enough width for track racing. The 335's were ridiculous. I would only do that for maybe an endurance race where that much tire would benefit. For what we do it only hurts IMO. I guess we will find out soon enough.
