I was very impressed with Will Martins acting as our new President. He got right down to business and ran the meeting smoothly.
As a long time member, I would encourage everyone to attend a meeting if you can. It will help members understand what is involved to keep the club running.
When are the meetings? Does the BOD have a set day/month for meetings (aka 2nd thursday of each month) or something to that effect?
I am the President of my Condo Association; I would enjoy going to one of these meetings instead of hearing about who's dog poop'd on who's yard.

Paddy and I had planned to go to Mosport. But after the unfortunate event at Mt. Tremblant, I think my season may be over. Woohoo for hundreds of dollars and countless hours of work just for 5 measly laps....
I'll be going to the Dark Side for next year. Running a car in Prepared is too much work. SS here I come!

Why do people keep referring to slower and more reliable cars as the dark side?
Example 1:
From:
To:
= "going to the dark side"
Example 2:
From:
To:
!= "going to the dark side"

And in each example above, there seems to be some expectation that the new car will be less work and less money than the last one.

Ha! That's why you gave up to the RX (7, 8?) and migrated to the vette? cheaper that way or less headaches?

That strategy has failed miserably. I have been pouring money into the Corvette after each event for repairs and the occasional upgrade. The RX-7 is ready to go racing and just sitting in the garage with what appears to be a dissapointed look on its grill. The bottom line seems to be that this is a great way to spend money and time, but you have to spend alot of both.

TRUE!!!!! The more I think about how true that statement is, the more I think the only way I'm going to throw more time/money into this is by way of a divorce..

Divorce costs about the same, but isn't nearly as much fun.

I call it 'going to the dark side' because it's somewhere I'd really rather not be.

You guys have it backwards!
It is going from the dark side to the light side.
Its all about the weight!
