I shall forever continue to remind Miata owners they are actually driving fake Alfa Romeos ... so you guys should BOW to the Italianissimo designer who did the Bertone Giulietta (it was later awarded to Pininfarina) who then went to Lotus and viola ... the Miata is actually a copy of the would-be Alfa Giulietta IF Bertone ould have been awared the design.
So brag all you want ... still a fake Alfa to me.
Besides you guys don't have body ... roll that is
All kidding aside, I am impressed with what this little niponic product can do. One day someone will say hey Stephan test my car and I will comit the ultimalte stupidity and actually accept and get hooked on it.
I see former 'tang onwers, Subie Owners, etc all converting to zoom-zoom mobile ... there must be a reason ... I cannot find one thus Alfa it is for me ... face it guys I have pushed this car to the limit and I have a lot of fun with it ... so do you watching it perform ...

Stephan I can see your point, although most consider the Miata a modern version of the MGB or Elan. I think it is the perfection of the classic roadster design. I love the old cars too, but just couldn't afford to race one. Alfa is one of the few cars that I have not owned (yet?).
There is a reason why many have joined the Miata ranks, they are great cars and a blast to drive. You should try one someday you may be surprized how much you like it.

Stephan, I think you might find FWD a hoot! They seem to be outnumbered (4 at Mosport) but do well, winning ST2, ST4 and 2d (to Carl!) in ST3.
I am looking forward to the day I can move from the stock suspension to something with front camber plates (blistering left front RA1s is too damned expensive!).
I'll blame my mess up with your class results on the high pollen count! Sorry!
And, no question that most of the Miatas will scorch me at NHIS!

Get faster or get used to it.
Ah, WTH, it was a good time anyway! Fortunately, my only competition in SSA was on the same tires I was on, and with three more hard laps on them!
RX-8? Nah, I think I shoulda gone the Flyin' Miata route...
